To analyze Stefano Lecchi's photographs, it was necessary to improve the readability of the images themselves. It was therefore necessary to make use of a tool that would make it possible to modify, in a non-invasive and non-destructive, but dynamic and versatile manner, the "hidden" or barely legible features of the individual images. It was therefore decided to work on the digital copies of the salted papers in order to obtain a more complete and, as far as possible, exhaustive survey of the wealth of information contained in them.
