Description
Fusignano, Corelli Auditorium
The 200-seat auditorium was inaugurated on 23rd December 2007 as the completion of the restoration work of the former Italia cinema theatre, one of the most important buildings in Fusignano historic town centre. The restoration work started in 1991 and was signed by architect Lamberto Rossi. The wide restoration project foresaw the construction of some new offices for the town clerks at the ground floor of the former cinema theatre and the nearby Archbishop Vantangoli square. The auditorium was conceived as a multifunctional space. Its main purpose was to provide the listening of music. However, it was then equipped in order to host also theatre performances, conferences and cinematographic projections.
