The earthquake of last May mainly affected Emilia, and caused the loss of human lives, gave a severe blow to production activities, upset the lives of thousands of inhabitants, and the partial or total destruction of many historic centers, of a large number of churches, numerous bell towers, towers, castles, palaces, theaters and rural buildings. For these reasons, the Festival has promoted a solidarity proposal, which sees at least fifteen musical ensembles and soloists offer their contribution to the towns affected by the earthquakes of last May with free concerts. These are professional musicians and ensembles who have been able to know the Modena area in its historical and artistic value and for this reason they want to witness their solidarity and encouragement, through the beauty of music, to carefully reconstruct those seriously damaged or destroyed historical assets. : are those places that give sound to ancient music.
